Milly Yu is a dedicated Registered Physiotherapist who has over 23 years experience in many clinical services including acute, rehabilitation, ambulatory and community settings as well as clinical teaching.
Milly graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1983. She was awarded a Master of Science in Clinical Gerontology by the Hong Kong Chinese University in 2006 and a Master of Science in Manipulative Physiotherapy by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2008. She is accredited in Acupuncture and has received Bobath, Osteopath, Chinese Manipulation and Clinical Pilates training. Milly’s focus is treatment of neuro-musculo-skeletal dysfunction. Milly uses acupuncture, manual therapy and core stabilisation exercise for spinal conditions.
Manipulative Physiotherapists have advanced skills in the assessment, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions. These skills provide the client with an accurate diagnosis and an appropriate evidence-based treatment plan.
Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine involving the insertion of acupuncture needles into the skin atspecific points on the body to achieve a therapeutic effect.
